Penumbra Cabinet

This large bow-front credenza features a case of black-lacquered ash and four doors clad in strips of oiled walnut.

The walnut strips were cut and arranged to form a pattern of concentric semicircles that flows across the curved facade. The wood was selectively stained with an iron solution to produce progressively darker tones toward the centre of the pattern.

Sleek custom-made brass pulls complete the doors.
