Forest Cabinet

Copper from the roof of Canada’s Parliament is used to create the pattern that flows across the front of this cabinet.

The reclaimed copper was trimmed into triangular and diamond-shaped tiles and carefully arranged in overlapping rows on the doors. The green/blue/brown patina tones are all as-found: the colours were not modified in any way.

The sleek mitered case and base are ash with a black lacquer finish.
